Your home is probably the largest investment you will make in your lifetime. The exterior of your home endures a variety of damaging elements throughout its lifetime, including: harsh weather, pollution, insects, accidents... Just as we maintenance our vehicles and computers, even ourselves, performing regularly scheduled maintenance on your home will prolong its life and help to avoid costly repairs down the road.

On the 1st, 3rd, and 5th year, we schedule to come out and re-stain any exterior doors .

The two year maintenance plan...

Basically, the 2nd and 4th year of our maintenance program consists of:

  • Paint and stain any exterior doors to keep them looking healthy and beautiful. This will help to avoid discoloration of paints and stains.
  • Touchup any exterior paint, such as trim, window sills, etc. Keeping these areas painted helps to prevent wood rot and the costs associated with repairs.
  • Check for any rotten wood, mold and mildew so that the issue can be addressed before it progresses. Once entrenched in your wood, mold and mildew will begin to spread and cause more wood rot.
  • Inspect all caulking around all openings. When the caulk pulls away, air and water will find its way in, causing rotten wood and mildew. Keeping a tight seal will help prevent this from occurring.
  • Pressure wash your exterior, if needed, at an additional cost. Dirt, plant spores, and tiny insects like to work themselves into your painted surfaces, causing them to fail more quickly. Pressure washing will greatly reduce your need for repainting. Pressure washing also rejuvenates surfaces from unsightly mold, mildew, pollution, and other dirt stains.

The 6th year of our maintenance program recommends a complete exterior repaint. This includes: siding, trim, gutters, downspouts, light poles, hand rails, mailbox, exterior doors, etc. This is in addition to the standard services we provide with our maintenance program.
